The 2006 Emperor Mines Annual Report — A Case Study
Emperor Mines has a long history of gold mining and exploration around the world, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific rim. In 2006 the company underwent a re-structure, moved offices to Brisbane and opened a new mine in Papua New Guinea. There was a lot of information to present to shareholders, so when it came time to produce Emperor's 2006 annual report, it had to embody the new direction the company was taking and get the details across efficiently. It also needed to have the flair expected of a company literally sitting on three gold mines. The Emperor corporate communications team had seen e-CBD's recent work with gold and copper miner Exco Resources and asked us to quote on designing and managing the report.
