Major Changes Coming To Google’s Mobile Search!

Google has been warning website owners about the importance of having mobile-friendly websites for some time. Now they’ve confirmed an algorithm change will take place on the 21st April 2015 which will favour mobile-friendly websites in Google’s mobile search results.

In a recent post on their Webmaster Central Blog, Google officially announced that the next major update to its search ranking algorithm will directly affect non-mobile friendly websites:

“Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal… Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimised for their devices,” Google said.
