The Australian Labor Party is Australia's only national political party, with branches in every State and Territory. It is also Australia's oldest political Party, having celebrated its centenary in 1991. The party was elected to govern the country in the 2007 federal election and currently holds office in seven of the eight states and territories.
In addition to alp.org.au, Australian Labor also needed a wide range of
secondary websites to support the election campaign and get the party
message across. e-CBD designed a range of PR sites, such as
howardfacts.com, flash animations, websites for state party branches,
candidates (including Maxine McKew) and mobile versions to enhance the
messages from the communications team. In consultation with the
campaign directors and IT staff, e-CBD was responsible for crafting the
visual design for a large portion of Labor's (winning) web campaign in
the 2007 Federal Election (although please note that while we'd love to
claim it as our own, Kevin07.com was not our work!).
