Accent Resources was incorporated for the express purpose of acquiring the gold and base metal tenements held by Tantalum Australia NL (TANL), raising capital and seeking admission to the Official List of ASX.
Current projects include:
- Mt Gibson Project, centred on the Great Northern Highway is located 300 km northeast of Perth in the Yalgoo Mineral Field. It consists of three Exploration Licence Applications (ELAs) with a combined area of 454 km2.
- Norseman Project, located around 200 km south of Kalgoorlie, about 5 kilometres south of the township of Norseman, in Western Australia covering the historically significant Dundas Mineral Field. Gold mineralisation at the main prospects Surprise and Iron Duke at Norseman is associated with the Mt Henry Shear.
- Meekatharra North Project, which consists of the Meekatharra North Joint Venture, and three other project areas at Arcadia, Abernethy and Mingah Creek for a total of 780 km2. All areas are strategically located with respect to prominent regional structures within greenstone belts that host +2 million ounce gold deposits along strike (eg. Big Bell, Meekatharra and Bluebird).
- The Clermont project, which lies 25km to the west of the township of Clermont in the Emerald District of Central Queensland and comprises of MDLs 103,106 and 143. Numerous companies that have been the precursor to Barrick Gold of Australia Ltd though a series of corporate changes have explored the project area. TANL acquired the Clermont tenements from Barrick Gold of Australia Ltd pursuant to a pre-emptive right and existing royalty agreement.
