Rox Resources Ltd is a Perth-based, ASX listed, exploration and development company with projects in Laos, South Africa and Australia. In Laos, Rox has entered a joint venture with First Pacific Mining to explore the sulphide potential of the Pha Luang zinc-lead-silver deposit, which is located about 180 km north of Vientiane. In South Africa, Rox holds interests in a number of alluvial and kimberlite diamond projects in the Republic of South Africa. These are located in the Kimberley region of South Africa, the heart of the diamond industry. In Australia, Rox holds title over the 100% owned historic Menzies goldfield, where past production of 800,000 ounces of gold from underground and open pit took place. Currently resources stand at 170,000 ounces of gold, with exploration continuing. The tenements also host the Acacia Ridge nickel laterite deposit, where drilling in 2004 discovered laterite up to 14 metre thick grading 0.91% Ni, and 0.17% Co.
