Can I buy a domain name from e-CBD without a credit card?
Yes, we'd rather you pay by direct deposit into our bank account, but we also accept cheques. To deposit into our bank account email us at info@e-cbd.com and we'll give you the details. To pay by cheque send written details of the domain name(s) you want, plus your billing address and details, email address and phone number along with a cheque made out for the total cost including GST (as specified on our pricing page) plus an extra 5% handling fee (to cover our processing time) to:

If you want a .au domain make sure you include your ABN.
How much does it cost to transfer my domain to e-CBD
The transfer is free. When it is time to re-new your domain name you then have the option to re-new it with us at our discount prices.
Is e-CBD an accredited registrar of .au domains?
When you buy .au domain names from e-CBD you are actually buying from Primus Telecommunications' company Planet Domain — they are an accredited .au domain registrar. e-CBD has an wholesale agreement with Planet Domain to sell domains through their system at whatever rate we choose — this means we can sell cheaper than Planet, and anyone else we like — and that's exactly what we do. e-CBD acts like a 'bargain warehouse' of domain names — we buy them at a cheap wholesale rate and pass the savings onto our customers.
Are there any restrictions on buying a .com.au domain name?
Yes, you need to be an Australian, or operating a business in Australia. This means you'll either have a tax file number or a registered Australian Business Number — either as an individual trader or as a company. The domain name you buy also has to be related to your business name or a product or service you supply. You can't buy an Australian domain name if you don't meet these requirements category.
Can anyone buy a .com domain name?
Pretty much - as long as you're not infriniging trademark or copyright laws.
Can I buy an Australian domain name for only one year?
No, names with a '.au' extension must be purchased for at least two years. |
